I just tried out the AirSketch app on the iPad (Free version) and it is awesome. The app works very nicely with an extremely fast response, as you can see in the video below. It is compatible with HTML5 enabled browsers (I chose Google Chrome because that’s my browser of choice). In the paid version you can annotate images, which I see as being a great tool for customer presentations with your computer hooked up to a projector. The next step will be for someone to create an Adobe Air app using the HTML5 capabilities of the webkit browser to create a transparent app that can be drawn on over anything on your desktop.
